Most Popular Fundraiser: Scratch and Help

              Hello everyone! I hope you are all well and enjoying this Spring like weather we are having currently here in the Midwest. It is getting closer to that time of year where everyone will be fundraising for all sorts of school, church, and club sport events. I would like to introduce you to our most popular fundraiser called Scratch and Help. It is a brightly colored card with the option of having your very own logo printed on the front!  All you do is ask the person  you are wanting to get a donation from to scratch 2 or more circles on the book to reveal an amount that they will donate. Behind the circles are amounts from 50 cents to 5 dollars. After they donate, you will give them a sheet of coupons as a thank you. You can use the coupons that our company provides you, or you can choose your coupons and even ask your favorite local merchants to donate a coupon if they wish.

            Sometimes, people using this fundraiser focus on the coupons. If you decide not to customize them, you will be provided coupons based on your geographically location. You may not have all of these companies in your town, but they will most likely be within a 50 mile radius. You can also use them while you are traveling. While it is nice to customize coupons for a fee, they should not be your focus. The focus is the donations and the coupons are a thank you to your customer. More and more people are not wanting to purchase any items for a fundraiser but would rather would just give a donations. This is a way for you to still get donations, and be able to give them a thank you via the coupons. Most of the time people will scratch more than 2 circles and will end up donating more money. They care about your cause, not necessarily about items being sold.

          Since you are not purchasing items to fundraiser, you will get a higher profit. The average runs anywhere from 90-97% profit from this fundraiser. We all know that in order to do any sort of fundraiser, short from sitting in front of a bowl and asking people for money, has costs.(But someone had to pay for that bowl too.)            Remember, in order to have a successful fundraiser, always keep your goals in mind. You have a need for new uniforms, pay for a trip, or help with medical costs. You are raising money for awareness, helping start a new vacation bible school, or cheer camp. Make sure that your fundraiser's understand your goals. Write it in the booklet, along with their name. You won't do well with your goals if the people doing the fundraising don't even understand what they are working towards.
